Mattress Overlay
Softech enhances patient comfort and protection. It is a resillient fabric made of millions of cylindrical, hollow fibres coated with silicone, which acts as a lubricant to friction and reduces sheer forces. Softech is reversible - one side is breathable, the other waterproof - hypoallergenic and hospital-proven. Machine washable to 70 degrees C to 160 degrees F. Suitable for tumble drying. FDA & CE approved. The silicone coating: prevents the fibres from absorbing perspiration or urine - lowers the vulnerability of pressure ulcers - insulates against hot or cold.
